Procurement Service

The Corporate Procurement Team provides specialist support to the Authoritys departments in all tasks relating to the provision of a wide range of goods, services and works using a variety of contractual arrangements.The unit ensures that all procurement complies with the Councils rules and national and European law. It is responsible for the Authoritys Procurement Strategy and controls and monitors all major contracts for the procurement of goods, works and services - the Council currently spends £85m on goods and services.
