Youth Engagement Service

Helping young people to learn the skills they need to relate to others forms the basis of this service.It is run by both qualified staff and volunteers and provides Youth and Community Centres in local neighbourhoods as well as specialist projects from outdoor activities and counselling to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.The main focus of our youth and community work is with 14 to 21 year olds although the service does work with other age ranges. Whatever the project, staff aim to help young people spend time constructively with others of their own age, extend their experience, develop personally, take responsibility for themselves and to others, resolve dilemmas and join the adult community as active citizens.
