NHS Public Health Nursing

Health visiting service: health visitors are registered nurses and midwives with an additional community public health qualification. Health visitors offer support and practical advice on many aspects of child development as well as family health.

Chat health

If you have a child aged 0-5 and you live in Reading, you can use the Chat Health service. You don’t have to give your name and you will be able to get confidential advice and information by phone, about any concerns you may have about the health of your baby or child.
