Discretionary Visitor Permits - In Zone

Households are entitled to 7 books of visitor permits, (2 free, 5 charged), if your household requires more than this limit, you may apply for discretionary books. A statement of reason and proof of residency is required; any additional books are charged for; £22 per book.

Households located outside of the permit parking zone, may apply for discretionary visitor permits. A statement of reason and proof of residency is required; £22 per book.

Visitor permits are scratch cards, each for half days. They are issued in books of 20 permits.


Only one required showing name and address of resident, dated within last 4 months

  • Bank statement
  • Credit card bill/Storecard statement
  • Gas/Electric/Telephone bill (mobile phone bills excluded)
  • Current Council Tax bill
