Blood and Ice, a play by Liz Lochhead, tells the story of iconic author Mary Shelley. In 1816, at the age of just 18, Mary wrote Frankenstein off the back of a ghost story challenge that she was set. Now widowed, Mary is tortured by the shadows of the creature which she once created, and it is here that we return to the younger years of Mary's life, riddled with tragedy and drama in this intriguing story.
