This report sets out the current risk based verification (RBV) process for dealing with evidence requirements in support of claims for both Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support. Reading Borough Council adopted a risk based verification process for evidence requirements in 2012. This report seeks continuation and approval of this approach and sets out the minimum requirements of the scheme within the policy.
