BUDGET 2016-17: APPROVAL OF COUNCIL TAX BASE, NNDR1 ESTIMATE & ESTIMATED COLLECTION FUND SURPLUS

This report asks the Committee to recommend to Council the uprating of the allowances in the council tax support scheme and the approval of the estimated Council Tax collection rate and Council Tax base for 2016/17. The Committee is also asked to note the estimated surplus in respect of Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR) transactions, and approve the NNDR1 form. An updated report with the CTB and NNDR forms appended was published on 18 January 2016.
