Early Help Hub Training

You can contact the Learning and Workforce Development team for more information by email: training@reading.gov.uk or phone: 0118 937 2102.

Early Help Hub training is available for any practitioner working with children in Reading. You must have an enhanced criminal records check and universal safeguarding training as a minimum.

For security, there is a two-stage process to apply for training on Reading's Early Help Hub:

  1. Accessing the System - this word icon access application form [274kb] must be signed by the delegate and the delegate's line manager. It asks for confirmation that you are an appropriate practitioner to be accessing the Early Help Hub, that you have a current enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and have attended Universal Safeguarding training as a minimum. It also requests that your organisation will inform the CAF team if you no longer need access to the Early Help Hub or you leave the organisation. This is so that we can ensure that only current and relevant practitioners have access to the system.
  2. Booking Form - when we receive a signed Access Application Form, we will email the applicant a booking form with forthcoming training dates. It will be the applicant's responsibility to book onto training.

You must bring two forms of identification (one with a photo) to the training, so that the trainer can ensure that you are the person who applied for access.
