Local Planning Policy

Our main planning policy document is the Reading Borough Local Plan 1991-2006, which was adopted in 1998. Although we began a review of the Plan in 2003, the introduction of a new planning system in 2004 meant that we are now producing our Local Development Framework (LDF) to replace the Local Plan, (click on link on left). This is made up of a number of documents rather than a single plan.
