Enquiries from current commercial tenants of the Council

Terms of Current Commercial Leases

If you are a current tenant of a commercial premises owned by the Council, all initial enquiries concerning Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals, Lease Assignments, Sublettings or Restrictive Covenants should be forwarded to the Council's Head of Development, Bruce Tindall by clicking on the link to Contact This Service on the right of this page.

Other services offered by the valuation section

Valuations

The Council's Chartered Surveyors carry out the valuation of all Council owned land and property including business property. If you require a valuation of a privately owned property a list of local Chartered Surveyors can be obtained via the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors website or you can contact any of the local Estate Agents (for residential valuations) or the local Commercial Property Agents (for commercial property valuations). Rateable Value

If you have queries about the rateable value of your property you should contact the District Valuer via the Valuation Office Agency website (link below) or telephone 0118 9804800

Estate Management

The Council's Valuation Section provides an Estate Management service for all land and property owned by the Council.
