Broad Street - Cycling Consultation 

A STATUTORY consultation on whether cycling should be allowed along the whole length of Broad Street Street.

Housing Charter Consultation

The pdf icon Private Rented Sector Housing Charter [320kb] sets out how we aim to work with tenants, landlords, letting and managing agents and a range of other agencies to bring about effective improvements to Reading's private rented housing.

The consultation ended on 14 October 2015 and responses are being considered 

Permanent Site for the Heights Free School

Following the consultation and survey that ran from March to May 2015, all online and paper records have now been collated and sent to the Education Funding Agency along with all letters, petitions and other feedback received during the consultation.  The statistics from the survey are listed in the file, with 4376 unique responses received.  The responses are broken down into six geographic and eight user groups in addition to the overall summary.

The Education Funding Agency will now review the consultation responses as part of its further work to decide which site it will pursue as the permanent site for the Heights Free School. It aims to announce how it will move forward in July.

Budget Consultation - July 2015We consulted on our latest package of savings, efficiencies and income proposals, between 24th July and 16th October 2015. Your feedback showed that whilst you did not want to see cuts to Council services you appreciated that the Council faced difficult decisions and needed to make significant savings.
