Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy

Safer Reading has now completed the Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy (2008-11).

The Strategy's objectives state how working in partnership Safer Reading will:

o Prevent, deter and reduce anti-social behaviour
o Effectively tackle the causes and deal with the consequences
o Take appropriate action against perpetrators and support victims and witnesses.

Although there is no simple solution to the problem of anti-social behaviour the strategy identifies options available in order to tackle this problem and Safer Reading will use all powers available to them to tackle this behaviour.

Safer Reading will also be implementing the attached Anti-Social Behaviour action plan in order to improve our response to anti-social behaviour.  This will help deal with local concerns and improve our neighbourhoods.
