What is "Emergency Planning"?

Emergencies are happening somewhere in the country almost every minute of the day. Usually the Emergency Services deal with any incident quickly and effectively. However some incidents are beyond the normal capacity of the Emergency Services so the Reading Borough Council Emergency Plan is put into action. This plan is designed to support the Emergency Services in their difficult task.
