Section 251 Budget Statements

Local Authorities (LAs) are required under section 251 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 to prepare and submit a budget statement setting out the Council’s planned education spending. Budget statements were previously known as Section 52 of the Schools Standards and Framework Act 1998.

Outturn Statements

Under the same Act, LAs are also required to prepare and submit a statement recording the Council's education spending after the end of the financial year. For further details, click on the link on the left.
