I have lived in South Reading for many years, since relocating here with the Oracle Corporation. After leaving University and working in Dublin, I have spent 13 years working in IT.
As a keen Tri-athlete, I have competed in a number of competitions. Not being a natural athlete, I have worked really hard over the past years and finally represented Great Britain for my age group in 2006 and 2007. I have also seen the positive effects that sport can have on both individuals and communities. My other interests include gardening and politics.
Successes to date range from assisting countless local constituents resolve issues, through to working with our joint parties to host a triathlon right next to my ward.
As Party spokesman for Community Care and Health, I am passionate about how we can improve the health for all people in Reading. This is a huge portfolio, which has a massive effect on people’s lives.
My interest in politics has been longstanding, since being elected president of Eastleigh College. I have always been passionate about fairness and getting things done. I was delighted to be elected in 2007 and clearly privileged.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, ideas or need my help.
