Missed payments

You should contact us online as soon as possible if you are having trouble keeping up with payments. If you miss a payment or pay late, we will send you a reminder giving you seven days to pay. If you do not pay, you will get a court summons and will lose your right to pay in instalments. You will have to pay any costs we incur recovering what you owe.

Online account

If you have a council tax account you can manage your account online - once you have set up your online account, you will be able to view your balance, payments, bill details and any documents sent.

Bills showing incorrect amount due

If you have recently paid a bill, it is possible that your annual bill may not show the correct amount you owe. We ran annual billing on  3 March, so any bills paid after that date will not have been taken account of.

You can view an up-to-date version of your account online by registering with our online portal.

Paying by Direct Debit - do I need to do anything?

You don't need to do anything if you pay by Direct Debit, your payments will continue to be taken.
