This section gives information about out-of-school and activities and childcare offered by Reading Borough Council, as well as detailing the laws affecting children who want to work, and children in the entertainment industry.  If you are looking for a hobby or activity to get involved in, click on the Young People's Service Directory link or the Children's Information Centre link in the Related Information box on the right of this page. The Children's Information Centre has a website with details of a large number of clubs and activities running for children and young people in the Reading area.
