Youth Participation
It is you, the user of a service, whether you are a child, young person, parent or carer, who is best placed to tell us whether the service is working, and what changes needs to be made to improve the service.
Young people from Reading told us about the difference meaningful participation can make:
“We need a place to put across our views so they can be considered, or even better taken and used.”
“Our views can be listened to and taken into account meaning that we feel less insignificant.”
Please use this participation area, if you are a child, young person, parent or carer, to find out more about opportunities to engage with services you work with, to have a say in developments and improvements they are making, or, if you are a professional, to access the guidance, support or knowledge to ensure participation is effective.
A new participation strategy is under development and will be launched later this year.
