Gambling

The Gambling Act 2005 updates existing Gambling Laws. On 30 October 2006 Reading Borough Council’s Cabinet approved the Council’s Statement of Gambling Licensing Principles, and on 1 November 2006 it was approved by the Licensing Applications Committee. It has been written in line with government guidelines and in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005. This shall come into effect on 31 January 2007.
