House to House Collections

The House to House Collections Act 1939 together with the House to House Collections Regulations 1947 set out the conditions applicable to house to house collections.

Anyone wishing to go from premises to premises collecting money and/or articles for a charitable purpose are required to have a house to house collection licence.

There is no fee for a house to house collection licence.

If you would like to apply for a Street Collection Permit in Reading you will need to contact us to check available dates for your collection.
