For information about Real Nappy events during Real Nappy Week 21st - 27th April 2008 please visit our Ready Wraps Website listed at the bottom of this page.

The Reading Real Nappy Project – known as Ready Wraps – and initially funded by WRAP (the Waste & Resources Action Programme) was launched in April 2005 at the Reading Borough Council Green Fair.

Ready Wraps aim is to encourage parents to switch from using disposable nappies to 'real' cotton washable nappies.

Real nappies are an easy-to-use, practical alternative to disposables. They are cheaper and reduce rubbish going to landfill, which is why more and more families are choosing them. It's official, real nappies are really cool!
