Welcome to GRANTnet

What is GRANTnet?

GRANTnet is a free to use funding search site provided by GRANTfinder. It allows you to search through over 4000 European, national and regional funding programmes, including grants and loans, to try and find potential financial support and advice for your project or organisation. You can also find details about local funding programmes and other items of local interest, for example, training events, useful contacts and announcements.

Who can use GRANTnet?

GRANTnet is a free service available to not-for-profit groups and organisations that are working for the benefit of Reading residents, for example, registered charities, voluntary and community groups, statutory bodies (including schools) and social enterprises.

How does it work?

The first time you click on the GRANTnet search button below you will be asked to register your organisation. You will then be sent a password by return to your e-mail address - this will allow you free access to GRANTnet.

You can now log onto GRANTnet using your password. You will be asked to answer a few simple questions about your organisation and the project you want to provide. Based on your answers GRANTnet will then supply you with a summary report of any funding programmes that could apply to your project.

If you are a first time user of GRANTnet we suggest that you use the help facility in the database to guide you with your selections for each step of your search.

What happens next?

A copy of your details and your funding enquiry are automatically sent to the Funding Advice Team, at Reading Borough Council. We are available to provide you with further information on any of the funding programmes listed in your summary report and/or additional fundraising help and guidance - if you need it. Please go back to the main Funding Advice Team web page for a full list of the services we provide.
