Reading Community Care Services provide or arrange care and support services for older people who, because of mobility and/or health problems, find it increasingly difficult to manage on their own.

Our role is to work with you to identify the help you need to help you live at home, support your independence and stay involved in your interests and social activities.  This can include things like Home Care (help with personal care such as washing, dressing or daily living tasks), Community Alarm Services, meals, social activities, adaptations to your home, Occupational Therapy (aids/equipment to make day-to-day tasks easier to and help to apply for Disabled Facilities Grants to adapt your home help to make your home more accessible), advice and support etc.
