Drugs and Alcohol Services

The Reading Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) oversee substance misuse treatment services in Reading and report treatment performance to the National Treatment Agency (NTA) and Government of the South East (GOSE).
The DAAT is made up of representatives of the Police, Primary Care Trust (PCT), Probation, Youth Offending Team (YOT) and Housing & Community Care.
We support local treatment agencies in the delivery of the National Drug Strategy 2008-2011 and to reduce the harm that drugs cause to society - communities, individuals and their families.
