This section offers support and advice on the different housing options available in Reading.
The Housing Advice Service can off support and advice to people moving into private rented accommodation and run a "Deposit Guarantee Scheme" to help people on low incomes secure housing in the provate rented sector.
The Housing Options Service processes application and manages the waiting lists for Council and Housing Association homes in the borough. and applications for Homebuy and Keyworker (part rent/part buy) housing scehems. We also advice and support for people who are homeless or about to become homeless.
