Council Tax Bands
Your home is placed in one of eight bands depending on its estimated market value as at 1 April 1991.
The Council does not decide what band your home should be in. This is done by the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) who are part of the Inland Revenue.
If you would like to find out what band your property is in, please click on the link at the bottom of this page, to be directed to the Valuation Office Agency website.
If you disagree with your Council Tax band, you must appeal to the Valuation Office Agency.
