Water supply issues in RG postcodes

Thames Water have reported that customers in Reading may be experiencing no water or low water pressure in the following postcode areas RG2, RG5, RG6, RG7, RG10, RG40 and RG41

This is due to a burst main at our Fobney Water Treatment Works, off Rose Kiln Lane.

Thames Water are working as quickly as possible to get the water back on

Latest list of closed/affected buildings is as follows :

1) Bennet Road and Darwin Close (Reading Borough Council) Depot

2) Christ The King RC Primary School

3) Whitley Park School

4) Oakland School

5) South Reading Youth and Community Centre and Nursery

6) South Children’s Action Team & New Directions South Reading Centre

7) Whitley Health Centre
