Building blocks for Future Employment

Staff from the Legoland Windsor Resort will be visiting Reading’s Civic Centre next Monday (20 February) morning to provide local residents details of employment opportunities at the popular Berkshire theme park.

The Council’s adult learning and employment service – New Directions - will also be at the event providing free information, advice and guidance to those looking for work. New Directions provides the Next Step face-to-face adult careers and skills advice service to fit individual needs plus facilities to help people look for work.

The Legoland Windsor Resort is currently recruiting employees to join the park’s team for the 2012 season which begins in March. As part of the big recruitment drive, the Resort intends to fill 1,000 employment opportunities across the Admissions, Rides & Attractions, Guest Services, Toilet and Grounds Cleaning, Security, Retail and Food & Beverage departments. The new employees will be a part of the seasonal workforce who work from March to November.
