Accessible Reading
To help people avoid accessibility difficulties in Reading we have produced an access guide to help make the most out of the town. It contains information on accessible transport, parking, shopping, toilets and leisure facilities. It also provides a list of useful contact details.
Although this information has been produced primarily for the benefit of people with disabilities, we hope that anyone who may have mobility difficulties, for any reason, will find it useful.
The Council works very closely with Reading's Access Forum and has its own access officer. The Forum works to promote better access for all in the town and new members are welcome to this group. We also insist that our website designers always comply with industry standard accessibility guidelines. We believe that our sites are accessible to all.
If you have any comments or feedback, please contact our Access Office (details to the right of this page).
