Support for Carers

If you look after an adult who is dependent on you or you care for care a disabled child who needs extra support, you are an informal carer.

Caring can be rewarding, but it is also very demanding and can put your heath and well being at risk.

The Council's Adult Social Care Service and Integrated Youth Service work in partnership with local NHS services and a range of voluntary groups and organisations to ensure that there is a wide range of information, advice and support for Reading carers of all ages.
