Supported Living

Info Supported Living Search

The Supported Living programme helps vulnerable people live more independently by providing support to prevent problems that lead to hospitalisation, institutional care or homelessness and to help those leaving an institutionalised environment.

Support provided by supported living services include help access Welfare Benefits, helping people develop the skills they need to live alone and manage their housing and providing advice and advocacy.

Services may be provided for a short-term until the person feels confident to manage without support or on a continuous basis as in sheltered housing.
