Summary The aim of Reading Older People Floating Support is to help older people safely and comfortably stay in their own homes for as long as possible. This means that older people have an alternative option to access support without having to move into Sheltered Housing or Care Homes. Floating support will work with older people to assess their needs, help them access community facilities, overcome barriers and maintain independence for as long as possible. This is a FREE service which is funded by Reading Borough Council.
