Reading DIVERT Mentally Disordered Offenders Scheme
Summary The aim of the scheme is to identify people at the first possible stage of entry into the Criminal Justice System who may have a mental health problem and to make a proactive response to provide a diagnostic assessment service, to identify psychiatric and social needs and also to link to treatment programmes for offenders and support to victims and family members.
