Shared Lives

This service finds, assesses, supports, evaluates and trains carers who offer supported living to people in their own home. The placements offered vary from the vulnerable adult living with and becoming part of the family, to more independent living - such as within a flat affiliated to the carer's home.

The service also provides daytime support to individuals as well as annual holidays.

The scheme has expanded dramatically over the last couple of years and now supports service users living within the Wokingham District Council area.

The service is registered as an Adult Placement Scheme under the Care Quality commission.
