Reading Borough Council is the first local authority in Berkshire to set up a group of informal adult learning providers and organisations. Together we have created the Reading Part-Time Course Guide that offers a wide range of informal adult learning opportunities on offer by New Directions, Reading College, WEA Reading, Museum of English Rural Life, Graft Thames Valley, Reading Museum & Town Hall, Reading Sport & Leisure and the Reading Community Learning Centre.

Whether you want to develop a new interest, learn a new skill, keep fit and healthy or simply have fun and make new friends, we have courses for you.

The group of providers offers a huge variety of courses for beginners and those who want to improve their existing skills or job prospects.
