In this area, you will find information about training and development opportunities within the council and the Directorate of Education and Children’s Services (DECS) for schools and other organisations supporting children in Reading.

The new DECS Workforce Development Team lead in this area, managing high quality training programmes and working closely with a number of other teams who also provide specialist workforce development opportunities for staff. A focus of the new team is to develop the very best opportunities for personal development and more efficient ways to access the wide range of training and support on offer.
