Performance of the Community Safety Partnership

Performance

The Community Safety Partnership comprises of statutory agencies who have joined forces to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime.

Each of the multi-agency delivery groups are responsible for a number of outcomes and will develop an action programme that will be monitored on a regular basis.

Performance is robustly managed. As well as monitoring all the objectives set out in the strategy, 10 crime types are subject to particular scrutiny. These are the 10 BCS (British Crime Survey) crimes identified as those which the public are significantly concerned about. They are:

  • Theft of vehicle
  • Theft from vehicle
  • Vehicle interference
  • Burglary dwelling
  • Theft of bicycle
  • Theft from person
  • Criminal damage
  • Common assault
  • Wounding
  • Robbery

Please see the document below for the past six years performance figures for each of the 10 crime types listed above.
