Get Involved - READING!

The aim of Get Involved - READING! is to raise awareness of the many ways you can get involved. It doesn't have to be a full time job - you can keep it small and very local. Helping a neighbourhood is a great way to start or by joining a local community group about something you feel passionately about.

Being an Active Citizen is all about taking an interest in your community, having your say as a resident and taking part in decisions that affect you.

By encouraging neighbours and communities to work together so much more can be achieved - helping us all to have a sense of pride in our own neighbourhood and town.

It's all about ordinary people making things happen!
