Volunteering

Volunteers make a significant contribution to the maintenance of Reading’s parks and woodlands, particularly with the implementation of Readings Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP). Reading has Friends groups working at Clayfield Copse, McIlroys Park, Waterloo Meadows, Mapledurham Playing Fields, and Lousehill Copse. Companies from Readings’ business community have provided volunteers that have done considerable work in Readings parks and woodlands.
