Aqua Academy

Our Aqua Academy will continue to follow the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming. Our programme will operate over a 50 week period, including school holidays, ensuring a better continuity of teaching. The Aqua Academy will make full use of the extensive swimming facilities across Reading, enabling pupils to learn and progress in a variety of pool environments.

We offer a huge range of courses for all ages and abilities:

  • Water Confidence
  • Ducklings
  • Pre-beginners
  • Beginners
  • Improvers
  • Advanced
  • Adult Lessons
  • Private lessons available by appointment
  • Diving Courses are also available

Pupils will receive unlimited FREE SWIMMING* during Public Swimming sessions, at any RSL pool
Spread your course fees with monthly Direct Debit and receive two FREE lessons**

*When paying by Direct Debit, while pupils are on our Aqua Academy Programme.

Fluid Learning - Progress is based around your child, not our programme. They will be continuatlly assessed, enabling them to progress through the levels when they are ready. To join the Aqua Academy please contact your local RSL Centre.

Spread the cost of the course - The programme operates on a 50 week basis, with course payments being made by monthly Direct Debit. You remain on the programme for as long as you wish***. In order to ensure you receive great value for money we have built in a two week 'timeout' (which you could use for your annual holiday), within the 50 weeks. If you don't wish to use your 'timeout' you can then enjoy two 'free' lesson weeks.

Progress updates - In order to help you keep up to date with your child's progress, we will advise you of your class options, and help you with any questions you may have. In effect, your child's progress will be tailored to their specific learning abilities. We will recognise your child's achievement through our optional graduation ceremonies that will take place throughout the year.

***If you leave the programme we cannot guarantee you a course place, should you wih to reuturn you may be placed on a waiting list.
