UNDER 5'S COURSES

  • Ducklings (CP, MC)
    Introducing your child to the water at an early age will help them develop water confidence and preliminary swimming skills. We recommend that you start classes after your baby's first set of injections.
  • Swimming (CP, HC, MC)
    Our courses cater for all levels from beginner through to advanced.
  • Bouncing Babes (MC)
    A safe, fun start to trampolining following our Bouncing Babes Award Scheme. Parents must stay with children.

JUNIOR COURSES

  • Swimming (AH, CP, HC, MC)
    Our Aqua Academy offers one of the best learn to swim programmes in the region, following the Kelloggs ASA National Swim Plan.
  • Lifesaving (AH, CP, HC)
    Learn water safety and resuscitation skills with our junior lifesaving and "Rookie Lifeguard" courses. Pupils must be competent swimmers, able to swim at least 25m on front and back using a recognisable stroke, tread water and swim under water.
  • Diving (CP)
    We offer a comprehensive diving award scheme to develop good diving techniques and teach children to use the springboard and diving platforms safely and effectively. Children must be competent swimmers and able to get out of the water without using the steps.
  • Badminton (MC)
    Our coach will help children develop from basic skills to more advanced shots and game strategy to progress and work towards badges and certificates.
  • Gymnastics (HC, MC)
    Junior gymnastics follow the RSL and BAGA award schemes. Beginners start with very simple gymnastics and movement skills which are developed into more complex tumbling movements, beam and bar work as children progress through the scheme.

  • Trampolining (MC)
    Children will learn the basic bounces and develop these into more complex moves, twists and somersaults as they progress through the badge scheme. Parents must stay with children.
