Palmer Park Consultation Results 2009

Earlier this year we asked for your comments regarding some proposed changes to Palmer Park.

These changes focused on the play area. We proposed to extend the play area and zone the play, move the recycling and make changes to the parking.

We received 177 responses. The responses were generally in favour of the scheme. We have amended the scheme in response to your comments. The play area will be extended and the play zoned as shown here. The existing play area will stay open for use and the new areas will be open by April 2010. In addition we will relocate the recycling closer to the stadium.

The changes to the parking are still under discussion. As soon as a decision is reached we will let you know.
