Reading's Sustainable Community Strategy for 2008 - 2011 has now been published.
The strategy sets out our vision for Reading's future and the key priorities for the next 3 years which will help us to achieve that vision. The strategy will allow us and our partners to plan activities to meet residents' needs in the most efficient and effective way.
Following the decision at Reading Borough Council's Planning Committee on Monday (July 21) to approve an application for a new Civic Offices to be built at Hosier Street, the all-party Civic Board met last night (July 22) to consider the next steps forward.
Residents in the borough are being asked what they think Reading needs to make it a truly cultural city.
Collection crews will be working on both Saturday 19 July and Saturday 26 July to catch up with the backlog due to no collections taking place on 16 and 17 July, and revised collections have been put in place.
A campaign is being launched to encourage people in Bracknell Forest, Reading and Wokingham to cut the amount of food they throw away and waste.
The Reading Independent Transport Commission has now published its final report.
