Highways and Drainage

Reading Borough Council is responsible for all aspects of highway maintenance and repair.

We regularly inspect Reading’s hundreds of miles of streets and pavements, carrying out prompt repairs. We carry out routine inspections and maintain our bridges and other highway structures using a specialist consulting engineer.
