Find out more about including your report in Reading’s JSNA

What happens next?

Research carried out with residents, communities and local organisations in Reading is a valuable source of information that helps service providers better understand the lived experiences and perspectives of local people and a welcome addition to Reading’s JSNA.

Reports and other materials (such as leaflets or infographics) submitted to be included in the JSNA will be reviewed by a panel comprised of representatives from local organisations (these include Healthwatch, Reading Voluntary Action, University of Reading’s Participation Lab, Brighter Futures for Children, Reading Borough Council Public Health and Wellbeing team, Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group, Reading Borough Council Policy Team, and others).

The panel will use a simple checklist to look at whether the content is clear, how and why the report was created and whether those who took part in the research were treated fairly and with respect. If they feel any of these are unclear, they may ask you to provide some additional information. This process helps make sure that information in the JSNA is as open and accountable as possible.

We aim to respond to all reports submitted within 8 weeks.
