In its continuing endeavour to promote, preserve and share heritage, Kalakunj presents Natyanjali, an offering of Indian classical dance and music from the 'Bharatanatyam' genre. The students of Kalakunj will be joined by Odissi exponents Ms Gairika Mathur and Dr Sutapa Biswas. The evening's highlight will be the presentation of Krishna Samarpanam, a compilation of songs and dance based on the lyrical texts of legendary Indian poets, Narayana Teertha, Jayadeva, Vyaasaraya, Oothukkadu Venkata Subba Iyer, and Vallabhacharya, by the students of Kalakunj. We would be delighted by the presence of all art enthusiasts to mark this journey of exploration of culture and heritage.
