Boundary Review

The Boundary Commission is carrying out an electoral review of Reading Borough Council.

The aim of the electoral review is to recommend ward boundaries that mean each councillor represents approximately the same number of voters.

We also aim to ensure that the ward boundaries reflect the interests and identities of local communities, as well as promoting effective local government.

The Boundary Commission would like to know your thoughts on the proposed new ward boundaries.  Submissions will be accepted over the next 6 weeks, until 20 July.  The Boundary Commission will accept comments through their web portal https://consultation.lgbce.org.uk/ and via email reviews@lgbce.org.uk or the postal address is: LGCBE C/O Innovation House, Coniston Court, Riverside Business Park, Blyth, NE24 4RP.

To achieve these aims, the Commission need to re-draw ward boundaries across Reading. You can find out more about the review below.
