Poll cards

Poll cards will be sent out to all eligible electors on or around 31 March 2021 Poll cards for recently registered electors will be despatched on or around 27 April 21.

Postal Votes will be despatched on 19 April 2021, and the second despatch is 26 April 2021.

You don’t need your poll card to vote, and you existing poll card will still be applicable for this by-election.

If you don’t have your poll card, you can go to the polling station and give them your name and address.

You don’t need any other form of ID.

Important dates and deadlines

The deadline to apply to Register to Vote is: Midnight on Monday 19 April 2021 

If you need a Postal and Postal Proxy vote you must ensure your applications is received by the Electoral Registration Office by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April 2021 (including changes to existing Postal, Proxy and Postal Proxy votes)

Please note that the Royal Mail have a number of Priority Post Boxes that may assist you in getting your application to us. Find a priority box in your area.

Proxy applications must be received by the Electoral Registration Office by 5pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021 

If you are already registered to vote, and have a postal or proxy vote in place you do not need to reapply.

Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm.
