Flooding in Reading - latest information


We're experiencing wet weather with high water levels along the River Kennet and River Thames in the borough. As of 2pm, 22 February 2024, flood warnings are in place for the River Thames near Mapledurham and a flood alert for the River Thames from Mapledurham to Sonning, as well as a flood alert on the River Kennet from Thatcham to Reading.

Please be cautious near towpaths and avoid flooded areas. Do not walk or drive through floodwater.
