Reading Play

We encourage learning opportunities and social experiences through play. Children's lives are enhanced by playing creatively, allowing for learning and development as individuals. We view play as a critical mechanism in supporting a child's behaviour, educational resilience and confidence.

Events & activities

We hold seasonal events such as Play Day, and A Christmas Journey. We also run our parks activities over the summer and Easter holidays. For more information on the latest events and activities, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Childcare

We are currently only offering after school care for the children of key workers.

We will be issuing refunds or credits for future clubs depending on preference. We will be contacting parents with existing bookings and we encourage parents to email us at reading.play@reading.gov.uk or phone 01189372632 for advice or further information.
