South Reading Community Hub is a multipurpose building that serves the local communities of South Reading. It is the home to Whitley Library, Sure Start Whitley Nursery and many activity groups run by the local community.

The hub offers a spacious large hall as well as recently refurbished smaller rooms which are all available for hire to members of the community. Other facilities include The Annexe (available for hire evenings and weekends), a Social Club and a Café.

How to find us

South Reading Community Hub is located on Northumberland Avenue and is easily accessible from the centre of Reading and the main train station (approximately 20 mins by bus). The nearest bus route is number 5, which provides a regular service throughout the day until 11pm. The bus stop you need to use is called Community Centre.

Please note: if you are travelling by car, there is very limited parking available at the centre due to its location, therefore we advise travelling by bus or getting a taxi.
